Comfortable and met my needs although there were a few quirks like no cold water in the kitchen and the internet was not stable enough to stream. I also thought I was getting a place with a window in the main living space based on the pictures of the listing but the only window I had was a tiny one in the back closet. The bathroom was perfect and made getting ready in the mornings enjoyable and easy. The kitchen was also very updated and nice and overall felt very comfortable. Location felt safe and quiet.
After payment I was not assigned a specific apartment in the complex. It wasn’t until after I checked in with my uploaded photograph that I was assigned the only apartment in the building without windows, in the far corner. I immediately requested another apartment as I felt claustrophobic and the place was very dark. They declined my request citing unavailability of accommodation while other clean apartments were empty and opened until my check out. The internet didn’t work from check in to check out (3days) even though I made it known and the technician confirmed it! They were very nonchalant and Laissez-faire about the issues I experienced.
While the place was clean, quiet, and in a great location; I feel like the application process leading up to getting the place was a bit hectic. It does say in the house rules section that you have to apply through a different website / app to stay at this place but I didn't realize how interactive and energy consuming the process was. I had to call the customer service line multiple times to ask them to push through the application and get me the unlock code for the door as I didn't receive that information prior to getting to the room. Let it be clear, the customer service agent was a rockstar and the place itself was great but rest assured, I will be making sure I don't have to do an application process outside of the Air BnB app ever again from this experience.
