Great location close to Zilker Park, South Lamar, and South Congress. Parking is available but limited. It is very pet friendly with a reasonable registration fee. Unfortunately, during our stay we were assigned to the wrong room due to a glitch in the Evonify system, which seems like a separate portal not managed through Airbnb’s website. The host assigned to us was responsive and understanding. The issue was partially solved due to escalation to upper management.

This was probably the strangest and maybe worst experience I have had with Airbnb. I was forced to pay a $100 deposit that was not disclosed when booking. Jean, the person I was communicating with had clearly never been to this apartment before, because they didn't know anything about where it was located or how to get inside. The instructions for finding the place and where to park were unclear, and we spent 20 minutes standing outside of the wrong apartment! When we finally got inside the right place it was dirty, had a weird smell, there was garbage left on the floor, and none of the photos matched the apartment. I was overall disappointed by the apartment and host, even with the great location, I would not recommend this Airbnb.
