Room was extremely dirty. Bathroom was unsafe. Shower was full of pink mold and shower curtain was stained with mold and other unknown things. Shower drain was not secure and caused slipping. Excessive hair throughout the entire unit. Floors had not been swept. Boogers and drawings on walls. Furniture feels very cheap/ poorly made. Bugs throughout the entire unit. Contacted host about how dirty the room was the same night we checked in and it took two full days to get someone to come in and "clean" the room. We did not see any real action put forth until involving Airbnb support. Said cleaner left their keys in the room. When asked if cleaner could come to get keys we said yes, but the cleaner never came to get their keys which made us feel like we had given them an open invitation to enter the room while we were away and made us feel unsafe. Walls are paper thin and not insulated nor is the building finished. You can hear everyone and everything happening in the building at all hours, and I mean EVERYTHING. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. Location is not the safest place in the neighborhood but does require a pass code to enter the building. All of our towels were dirty and had other people's hair in them. Honestly so disappointed in this entire experience. When requesting a partial refund for the plethora of issues with the room, host only approved the 100 dollar cleaning fee. Absolutely, by far, the nastiest place I have ever stayed. We thought we were getting a good deal because of the location but it feels like we still got the shortend of the deal. Honestly should not have to pay more than 50 dollars a night for the condition of the stay. Only good thing I can say about the experience is the locks on the entry door and the unit itself.
The units are not cleaned properly. My wife and child were breathing in drywall dust for 5 days abs when I reported it I got a bunch of responses with no actions taken. Everyone who rents in this place smokes weed and with big gaps in the walls/door frames, the smell gets into the units. Wonderful when you don’t smoke weed ir like the smell of it. Point blank don’t stay here unless your looking for a place w to do drugs and play loud music.
Great hosts good communication and accurate listing. Would definitely stay again.
