Great location and very well-appointed space. They're not kidding when they say driving in Boston/Cambridge/Somerville is a nightmare; avoid it if you can. However, successfully found on-street parking and deposited my car there for the three days without a ticket. The check-in instructions were a tad confusing, and having separate front-door and apartment codes meant I had to rely on the email every time I returned. Still, incredible space and value for it!
Overall the stay was good, but the check-in experience was frustrating. When I arrived around 9:15 PM, the exterior door to the building would not unlock and I ended up being locked outside for about an hour and a half in the cold with my bags. I reached out to the host and they were responsive, but it was unclear when the issue would be resolved. I was ultimately only able to get inside because another resident happened to let me in. Once I got into the unit, the stay itself was fine. However, the building access issue made for a very stressful start to the trip and something future guests should be aware of. I would recommend confirming that the entry system is working properly before arrival.
Great location with small restaurants and close proximity to the airport. Super clean apartment with nice finishes and well appointed interior design. Apartment complex is brand new, either the whole building was rebuilt or it was all renovated, the smell of clean and fresh paint was still present throughout the whole building. Everything is new including the staircase to the rooftop. Excellent communication from the hosts.
