Positive aspects of this apartment include the location, the easy self-check-in and check-out process, and a comfortable bed. It’s clear that the owner recently invested in furnishing the place, but on the other hand, certain small details are hard to overlook — like exposed pipes and electrical wires sticking out of the wall right next to a noisy AC unit that leaks water, causing a wet floor near the bed and those wires. Honestly, it feels a bit unsafe. Since the host is a company and not a private individual, the level of personal care you can expect if something goes wrong is minimal. There was no WiFi in the apartment, and the TV didn’t work either — it’s a smart TV that requires internet access to function. Upon arrival, we contacted the “host” about the WiFi issue, but only received chatbot-style responses, each time from a different person. Coming from Europe with a limited data plan, having working WiFi was essential for us. Nobody showed up in two days to check the issue.
