Overall this airbnb is a great place to stay. Check in was very seamless and easy. You do have to download an app to open the gate when entering with a car. Everything inside the airbnb was clean, only the little terrace was a bit dirty but we didn’t use it anyways. The wifi was not the best and sometimes lost connection completely. We also lost power for 3 hours one morning however I can’t say if this was due to a widespread power outage. The kitchen is very nicely equipped with anything you need to cook. The dishes were all clean. The bathroom was also very clean. Would definitely stay here again on a future visit.
A neighbor warned me about past incidents in the area. Then the next day someone tried to enter my unit, and I had to yell to stop them. Management dismissed my concerns as “out of their control,” which might’ve been understandable if the listing hadn’t also been misleading. I had even mentioned in my intro message how excited I was to be near my preferred grocer, but the location was wrong. Without being able to drive, that made things unbearable. I had no choice but to cancel. Of course, they refused any refund and insisted keeping the rest of the 28 days I paid for was “fair.” Be cautious as comfort and safety clearly aren’t a priority here.
My experience was not great initially. When I arrived at my Airbnb, the unit was not cleaned—there were towels on the floor, crumbs everywhere, and the bed hadn’t been made. It clearly hadn’t been prepared before my arrival. I contacted management, and to their credit, they made sure the room was cleaned the same day. Other than that initial issue, the place itself isn’t bad and could have been a good stay if the room had been ready from the start.
