They listed the room for $39 per night; I booked while driving, so I received the confirmation, and the invoice was $132 per night; they charge $80 for the cleaning fee and $13 tax. I tried to cancel, but they refused. I had to accept but didn’t get the address and the door-locked passcode yet. The host asked me to pay an additional $100 Security deposit first, Which I did, and then he asked me to fill out another form and send them a copy of my driver's license and a selfie picture. I was sitting in my car for almost half an hour to fill out a tedious form. After I completed it, I found the room in the basement! With the money I paid, I could’ve stayed in a five-star hotel within a five-minute check-in process. I am sorry that I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
Great place to stay and is in a good neighborhood.
Horrible experience. Hair in bed. Stains on walls. Food in bottom of fridge. Crumbs on carpets. COCKROACHES climbing on countertops, in sink and on kitchen backsplash. Garbage can battery dead and wouldn’t open. Garbage piled up outside on cans until I left. It was falling out all over the ground. Cement channel drain ran inside the house as you walk in the door. Door to basement/laundry didn’t have a lock on the door, only a flimsy chain that could be snatched open easily. Host ZERO assistance.
