This place was perfect for what we needed. A few bugs were found but overall was clean.
We stayed here for one night, and we were met with 50+ bugs, many of which were still alive. There were indoor foggers on the floor, making it clear that the hosts were aware of the bug problem. You should not be renting out a bug infested place to anyone. On top of this, the apartment was not clean. There were random black marks and scuffs all over despite the fact we had a 6pm check in (and had to be out by 11am). We were not notified of any of this. Additionally the walls are very thin, so you can hear the upstairs neighbors 24/7. I would not recommend this Airbnb until something is done about the bug problem.
We booked this place for the weekend before and on the day of the total solar eclipse. It met our needs perfectly and was reasonably priced. It can be reached by bus, metro, and is a short car ride from downtown Austin. The only issue we had was that the dishwasher did not work, but there were plenty of clean dishes and dish soap.
