Overall it’s an okay stay. Need a place to sleep? Perfect. As long as you don’t mind the mysterious white stains on the couch, hair clumps smeared on the shower wall, and homeless people loitering outside the complex that ask for money every time you leave.
This was the worst airbnb experience I could have ever imagined! My partner and I were staying here for accommodations after a surgery which we had mentioned to them, yet when we arrived, the airbnb was incredibly dirty. Upon entering, the suite smelled clean but we quickly realized that was because of a car air freshener shoved into the air vent. We found a fake nail (like the kind from a humans hand) on the floor, water damaged toilet paper, clumps of hair throughout, insanely dirty vents, lipstick on a glass, and blood splatters on the pillow case. When we mentioned it to evonify saying this was a health hazard, especially having open wounds post-surgery they refused to refund us and let us leave. We could not sleep in dirty and bloody sheets so we ended up contacting airbnb directly, who then contacted evonify. Evonify ignored all calls and messages for 7 hours until eventually airbnb went ahead and issued a full refund because the host was unreponsive. At this point it was 9pm and we were past all airbnb check-ins and without anywhere to sleep. Luckily we found another host who was incredibly kind and accommodating who allowed us to check-in in well past her check-in time so we had somewhere safe and clean to sleep. In addition to the disgusting state of this suite and the terrible customer service from evonify, we compared the pictures from the posting and noticed that it was an entirely different suite from the ad that was just decorated with the same furniture. Evonify had also asked us to not mention that we are from airbnb should we encounter any staff. This felt incredibly sketchy and I was very uncomfortable with the situation. Additionally, the only way into the complex was by wandering around until we found a door that had been propped open so if someone had closed all the doors we could have been locked outside.
Good place worth the money. Clean and stayed cool the whole time. Bad location though. We were unloading our stuff and within 10 mins of getting back down to our truck someone had stole stuff out the back of our truck.
