The apartment looks like the pictures, but it is important to consider that it is not that close to downtown. Also, is was difficult to sleep sometimes because I could hear the noise from cars driving fast close to the apartment.
Overall the location worked very well for us. There a few items that need to be addressed: Curtain rod over the balcony door needs to be reinstalled. It's pulled out of the wall on one end and is loose in the middle. Ceiling fan remote in bedroom needs to be reprogrammed. The living room fan remote turned on the bedroom fan, but it would not operate the light, nor would it change the fan speed or turn it off. Therefore, using the wall switch to power the fan, it could only be operated with the light on as well, meaning we had no ceiling fan at night. The kitchen needs dish towels and dish soap. We used too few dishes and utensils to warrant running the dishwasher. The hole in the wall just outside the bathroom needs to be properly repaired, not just covered with clear packing tape. For guest safety and peace of mind, more effort should be made to ensure that the security doors are closed and locked. At that end of the building, it's completely open to the street, a bus stop and 711
