Our family of 5 stayed here for 6 days. The best thing about this apartment is the location which is very convenient to the Green and Orange subway lines. It's also within walking distance to many sites such as the Boston Commons, Chinatown, theatres, etc. Lots of food options at your doorstep. A few criticisms that contributed towards my "ok" rating were: - The unit didn't feel clean. Signs of dust and hair were evident. The building is a bit older (which is typical of downtown Boston) and have the usual downtown crowd at the front door so just be aware. - We stayed during the end of Aug/first week of Sep and temperatures were still warm on some days. One of the room's AC doesn't work and was very stuffy. - I tried doing laundry during my stay but the machines only operate on a pre-paid card which you load. However, the machine in the building doesn't work and there were no instructions on how to do this. Just so happens, a resident was also doing laundry and informed me that the card can be loaded at the adjacent building at 60 Boylston. Clear instructions should have been given on this issue. Generally, the unit is still a good option for a larger group who want a bit more space than your typical hotel room. Just be aware of the above issues.
Location and space are great! But the apartment could be in better conditions. We had one broken chair, one air conditioning that did not work… and right in fron of the building there is ahomeless shelter… so there were a few of them wonderingabout when you left the building.
Amazing location in the middle of Boston, right next to Boston common and Chinatown and within walking distance of just about everything the city has to offer! Great location, great price!
