Exactly as expected. We know old buildings have quirks, so we were not bothered by the few little things around. It was the apartment pictured, and although it was right next to the elevator, the sound was not bothersome. There was a little more street noise if anything. Only issue at all is the window shade in the bedroom. You really need to have full coverings in a bedroom window, esp in a city. You cannot beat the location. We walked to 4 different T stations during our stay, it was easy to get anywhere, and Tatte was the perfect daily brunch. Thank you!
Great location and apartment lay-out with separation between living room & bedroom.
The selling point here was obviously the location. We only had to walk a few steps in any direction to find the boston common, a dope arcade bar, a rooftop bar, a delicious Jewish bakery, and the subway entrance to get anywhere else we needed. Aside from the elevator up to our room on the 7th floor scaring my girlfriend half to death with how much it shakes, the room was also great for the value. It was very clean and very accurate to the pictures.
