Not as clean as the pictures make it out to be. Needs a coat of paint. Stains and cracks on walls. Not as bright as the photos look. Maybe it’s because there is a building now that has been built right across from it that covers a lot of the sunlight. The pictures in the ad don’t show the building next to it maybe old photos. This unit also looks right into the big windows of the adjacent building. Feels sort of invasive. The dining table is right up against the wall for the laundry room. It is a shared laundry room for the entire floor, so it does get used often and since there is no furniture or real insulation, it gets quite loud. The whole unit hums with noise from the washing machines. If on the phone or watching TV, you have to turn up the sound. It is bothersome to the ears. Location is right across from Boston Common so it’s accessible via the green and red lines. There are also many eateries within walking distance, however, no grocery or convenient stores very close by.
Overall, it was a good stay. The pros: great bed, great location it was very clean and most everything we needed was there. Cons the tub was really slippery and for a sweltering summer day there is no way to make ice. It was really dark inside and the couch in the living room was due to be cleaned and freshened. There could have been more little things for us for the price. For instance, Kleenex, nice towels. The common areas were pretty dirty especially the elevator doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned for a long time.
Visited Boston on a quick work trip. A great location downtown adjacent Boston Common. The place was clean, organized, with an easy check in. Evonify was a great host in having a quick response time to any questions I had, and having a clean and quiet place.
