The host, Jean, was great. He was very responsive when we had any questions or concerns. The location was great being close to the subway and being walking distance away from the main city. The major issues were around the room itself. The building was obviously much older and the room was way more rundown than what we expected based off the pictures. The overall cleanliness was subpar, the bed sheets weren’t the cleanness, the couch felt really old with all the stains and the bathroom wasn’t appealing. All the yellow lights and oldness of the walls doesn’t help either. Looking at older/recent reviews, you can definitely see a trend of comments. All in all, having some better cleaning services, maybe some newer furniture, better lighting and some wall fixings can go a long way. Thanks again to Jean and appreciate the stay
Location, location, location! We loved that we were feet from the green line subway line, making it easy to get to the Boston public library, MFABoston, and a 15 minute walk to the freedom trail and a 18 minute drive all to Boston Tea Party experience. It’s an older building and has that older apartment vibe.
Amazing location in Downtown Boston, close to everything that you can visit. No need to take the subway to visit the city. The apartment is well equipped and cute. Check-in procedure is good and communication is clear. Unfortunately, some spots are not very clean (mostly the corners and behind the furniture).
