If you’re looking for a place with a great location & is clean, this is it. While the building is very run down, this AirBnB has everything you need. The arrival experience is poor, the check in process is less than stellar. This property is managed through a second party which makes checking in & communication very complicated. I received a few texts that required me to put in my credit card again which made me believe I would have been charged twice- luckily I was not. Overall, it was fine for me and my girlfriend for one night. I would not recommend it if you’re looking for simplicity.
The apartment was a bit dark inside. The kitchen lights didn’t put off much light at all. It was relatively clean and in a good location. There are no air vents in the kitchen or bathroom so that part of the apartment gets very warm with no real AC ventilation . Other residents smoke a lot of pot to the point where the hallway smelled horrible. By the last day our apartment was starting to smell like pot too.
Its a good thing I am writing the review after a couple of weeks. It has given me a little time to reflect and come to the conclusion that despite initial reactions the apartment was quite good. It has a great location and is of a good size with a very good layout. The bedroom is large and the bed is very comfortable. Ample storage space to put away luggage and clothes. The kitchen is of a good size and well appointed with all appliances working smoothly. The bathroom is small but not uncomfortable. Overall the place is quite good as far as value for money is concerned and the location. Areas to improve would include attention to cleanliness as we had to give the place a work over as soon as we moved in. The couch in the living room needs to be replaced. It is disgusting. We had to a bedsheet on top of it before sitting.
