Clean place. Good value. Would stay again.
Great location! Less than a block from the train and Starbucks next door. Only a few stops from Fenway! Very clean and beds were comfy. The fans were great to block out the city noise if you are a light sleeper.
I booked this place eyes wide open given some of the reviews (there were not a lot of options). I stay in Airbnbs a lot so have a good sense of what they should be, especially at different price points, different cities and when they list themselves as “luxury.” There were quite a few issues with this Airbnb. The management agency was able to quickly address two of the issues (air conditioner was not working and it was hotter in the apt than outside and the air mattress had a leak. They fixed both the next day, after my son woke up at 5 am in a big air mattress crevasse). Other issues that need to be addressed include: no blinds or curtains in one bedroom (my in-laws hung a blanket across the windows holding it up with our hair clips), and blinds that let in a lot of light in all the other rooms (most airbnbs that charge what they do or are “luxury”also have curtains). The kitchen doesn’t have basics (like glasses, other than two wine glasses. or plates), it is not clear on check in how you get in without a building key (which is in the apt when you get there). Other issues about the location are in other reviews (and were not bad, yes this building is more like a dorm, but the apt itself is not as bad), it’s a good central location. Clearly whoever owns this apartment doesn’t care about investing in it. You could put ~$500 get some ikea kitchenware, curtains and some other amenities and it would be a big upgrade. If I were in my 20s this stuff might matter less. Traveling with kids and in-laws, this place leaves much to be desired.
