The location of this apartment was fantastic for exploring the city as it is right on the Boston Commons and walkable within a few minutes to several different T lines! I recommend that they change the instructions for how to enter the building as there is no concierge in the building I was in and we had to message with the host to find out how to get the key to the front door. She was quick to respond but that was annoying. The air conditioner also was leaking water on the floor and regularly creating puddles. Maintenance came in with a dehumidifier but it was loud and again kind of annoying to have water regularly on the floor. Considering we weren’t planing to be in the apartment much except for sleeping it worked well, and as I said above the location was fantastic.
Great location near/in China town area of Boston and Boston Commons. Several theaters, good restaurants, and lots to do walking. Beds were very comfortable, showers had plenty of hot water, linens and towels were clean. Adequate kitchen to cook if needed. The major downside was parking. Although convenient parking across the street it is very busy and expensive, but that is probably the same all around town. No real ability to load/unload luggage before parking. Host was responsive and friendly. Overall, this was a great location and amenities sufficient to make for a pleasant stay.
The location is amazing!! Being near to the Boston Common is worth it. We were able to use the kitchen for quick meals so that was great to have and it had all the kitchen utensils, yet it was close to so many great restaurant options and multiple subway and bus routes for access to everything else. The key situation was a bit annoying, but they said they were working on it. Go to Tattes, it's a lovely coffee shop.
