Door to the unit had obviously been kicked in previously, then wasn't properly fixed. No strike plates at the bolt nor the latch. The wood jam/frame was all broken up, duct taped used as a fix. Door could not be locked from the outside, but that wouldn't matter, because without those items being fixed, the door could simple be pushed open with a bit of effort. Evonify initially was good about regarding this safety issue, but then just stopped responding. Asked if they had a secure unit in the area we could move to, because they own many properties in Boston and around the world. I was ignored. Asked for a refund. Also, ignored. Thankfully, when I thought to reach out to Airbnb, we got moving forward... Airbnb refunded our night and cancelled the rest of the reservation without penalty. With no where to go and not knowing Boston, we stayed that first night there, with furniture placed by the door to block any intruders. Other issues - no internet, microwave unusable, listening device...

Great bang for your buck. Easy check in and the room did not look like the photos but we got everything we were promised. The location was the best part. Out the front door to the right was the parking garage and to the left several yards was a green line subway station making our commute to TD Garden a breeze. Also the building is right on the edge of china town so there’s plenty to explore right in the neighborhood. The 19th century building had some neat original architecture but the modern-ish elevator was noisy and the sitars to the lobby was a bit of a maze. I also had an issue with my door lock but the staff was very responsive.

Awesome apartment in the centre of Boston! the space was more than enough for a travelling couple and everything was as advised. host was proactive and responsive. The only downside what the advertised address what actually a number that differed slightly from reality but the doorman of the building was helpful and confirmed we were in the right place. A+ would recommend
