Location, location, location! Close to multiple T stations in downtown Boston. Kitchen was as illustrated, but turn out very small to prepare meals. The stove did not work during our stay. The staff was very responsive to our messages but did not came to check the appliance; they offered to came on our last of 7 nights and we declined it. Too little too late. Apartment is as described, old building but conveniently located and everything else was working. Assuming it was bad luck with the stove, would consider staying again.
Great Homebase for my girlfriend and I during our stay in Boston. The apartment was clean and comfortable as advertised, and offered enough space for ourselves, and another couple we were travelling with. Location is the apartments biggest benefit by far, perfectly placed right by Boston Common. During our three day stay, all of the main attractions we wanted to visit were well within walking distance or just a short drive away. We visited during a weekend and the road noise on Friday and Saturday night was surprisingly distracting, but the fans supplied for each room helped drown out the noise. The kitchen and bathroom are slightly smaller than desired and could use an update, but given how little time we actually spent in the apartment it really wasn't an issue. Checking in and out was very simple and straightforward. Good value and great location, would definitely recommend.
Jean was a great host, was always responsive and was quick to respond even during the late hours of the night. The location was great! So close to everything and was always close to the transit system so if anything was too far to walk it was very easy to get around. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to visit Boston!
