Management was proactive by listing potential complaints, such as, noise you are in the city- understandable. I would say we were 8 floors up- clear screaming from pedestrians, road work that included jack hammering at 1am. I think part of the issue is the windows were not well sealed and insulated. The problems we didn't foresee was the building primarily is student housing, weed mixed with other unpleasant smells wafted -not a smell I anticipated 6mths pregnant. Other mentions that can easily be fixed- no toiletries in bathroom or kitchen essentials (soap). The heat does not work in the AC units in the rooms that or it takes hours to warm up. The "kitchen" needs reorganization or remove the appliances it is inconvenient. The bathroom needs work and renovations. I know it's an old building but you stand in 2 inches of water in the shower. The good- clean, location. I think the cost has to be significantly less than a hotel in the area to be worth it.
Nice place
We had a great time in Boston. The apartment has beautiful views of Boston Commons Park. The space worked for us and was clean and perfectly located. It felt secure and we were able to leave out luggage with concierge while we walked around after checking out on our last day. I would definitely come back to this Airbnb!
